Voting in Tempe

The last day to register to vote in Tempe's March 10, 2020 municipal election is February 10, 2020.

The next scheduled election in Tempe is March 10, 2020. Registered voters will be asked to choose a Mayor and three council members. Ballots will automatically be sent by mail to all registered voters on February 12, 2020. Return your ballot by mail no later than March 4th. Replacement ballots will be available at the Pyle Adult Recreation Center, 655 E Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282 through March 10th. Polls close at 7:00 p.m. on election day.   

The 2020 elections will be held as ballot by mail, in which every registered voter automatically receives a ballot in the mail at the start of the voting period.  In a ballot by mail election, rather than going to assigned polling places on Election Day, individuals should mail in their ballot no later than March 4, or request a replacement ballot or drop off their voted ballot at the Pyle Center through election day.

*Permanent Early Voters will also receive a separate ballot for the presidential preference election about a week after receiving their city election ballot.
